Shield Gules, a throughout centred cross Argent, charged in centre with a church Argent with one tower.
Meaning:
The pattern alludes to the local parish church, dedicated to St. George. The cross is considered to be a St. George's Cross in counterchanged colours. The cross bars are also alluding to the local crossroads, heading to Schwäbisch Gmünd, Welzheim, Backnang and Schwäbisch Hall . The colours had been those of the Rechberg kin and the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd as well, both having been former rulers.
