Overview

According to the English Wikipedia, in the 2001 artificial language project Toki Pona, "lipu" is one of the 17 Finish-origin ("lippu") roots in the 120-root Toki Pona thesaurus, with the semantic set of «banner, ticket, flag». The inclusion of "ticket" is not clear to me.

How this compares with "len", used in the article about The Philippines in a Toki Pona wiki-based encyclopedia (not Wikipedia), I do not know. But the same Toki Pona wiki-based encyclopedia keeps a word list with translations into Czech where neither word seems to mean "flag":
