wayaway
The Central Bikol language Wikipedia has an
article about
the Philippine national flag, which states «nasyunal
na wayaway[1] o
bandera» and [1] is «de
Lisboa, Marcos: Uayauay. Vocabulario de la
Lengua Bicol, Establicimiento Tipografico del Colegio de Santo Tomas,
Manila (1865), p. 414». Does this mean that "wayaway" means
"flag" in general, and that "bandera" means only "national flag"
(="nasyunal na wayaway"), or even the national flag of the
Philippines?
