The flag of Vilnius district was drawn according to my
personal observation and picture of coat of arms of Vilnius
district, which was taken from the catalogue of exposition in the
Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, 15-30 March, 2002.

Vilnius district - on a red field the same charge as Vilnius
county. Flag proportions 5:6, free edges bordered with a narrow
golden stripe, finial is a golden tip. The charge represents the
Vilnius land in a narrower sense. See the description of flag of
Vilnius County.
