Nemencine (Vilnius District) - on a red field a silver Saint
Archangel Michael slaying a black dragon with a silver sword
having a golden cross-guard and pommel, saint's hair is golden,
shield is blue with a golden Jogaila cross. Flag proportions 5:6,
fringe is golden, finial is a golden knob with a cross. The
saint is attributed to the local church of St.
Archangel Michael. The shield with the Jogaila cross reminds us
that the Nemencine Parish is one of oldest parishes in Lithuania,
established by Grand Duke Jogaila in 1387.
