Maisiagala (Vilnius District) - on a yellow field with silver
lily flowers in the corners the arms of Maisiagala: St. Anthony
with the infant Jesus. Flag proportions 10:11, free edges
bordered with a narrow silver stripe, fringe is silver, finial is
a golden tip with openwork an lily flower and silver bands, staff
is white. The arms granted in 1792 are probably related to the
name of Antanas Perkovskis, who obtained the town rights for
Maisiagala from King Stanislaus August, also this is the name of
the then vogt (bailiff) Antanas Gruzevskis and of the mayor
Antanas Stravinskis.
