Gminy (districts) in Kartuzy County:
In 2010 there was a flag proposal that combined the Kashubian colors (black and yellow a hoist) with the coat of arms (a fly). In 2013, three variants of county flags were available for choice. It won the first variant, blue over yellow with CoA.Finally the drawing of the Kartuzy County CoA was revised at the end of 2013. In the process of approval of heraldic symbol also a flag was presented. It is a Banner of Arms, a blue cloth with figures from County CoA. Flag and coat of arms of Kartuzy County were adopted on December 12, 2013 by laws "Uchwała nr XXXIII/283/2013 Rady Powiatu Kartuskiego z dnia 12 grudnia 2013 r. w sprawie ustanowienia herbu Powiatu Kartuskiego" ,and "Uchwała nr XXXIII/284/2013 Rady Powiatu Kartuskiego z dnia 12 grudnia 2013 r.w sprawie ustanowienia flagi Powiatu Kartuskiego".
