Village of Sierakowice/Serakowice looks more like a small town. It is
a trade and service center for the larger area around it.
An interesting altar, built for the open-air Mass during Pope John
Paul II visit to Pelpin in 1999, was moved to the downtown Sierakowice
and is displayed in a special garden, which will become a park with the
monument to the Pope in the future.
Arms and flag adopted on January 28, 2003 (resolution # V/22/03).
"Arms: on a blue, gothic shield golden letter "S" serving as background
for half-white eagle of the Piasts and half-black griffin of the Kashubians.
Above is a golden crown with three lilies.
Flag: rectangular piece of blue cloth: width=1;length=1,5 of width.
In the middle of the flag the Arms are placed: height of letter "S"
= 0,5 of the width of the flag; distance from the tip of the eagle's wing
to the end of the griffin's tail = 0,35 of the width of the flag."
