Shield parted per pale of Or and Argent, charged with two keys in saltire, a key Gules in bend sinister superimposing a key Vert in bend having a warden trefly, chief lozengy of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
Duke Ludwig X of Bayern granted the rights of a market town in 1516. The 21 lozenges are symbolising the sovereignty of the dukes. The keys are a differentiation of the arms of Regensburg, as the village belonged to the Chapter of Regensburg until 1483. Silver and gold are the traditional colours of the keys of St. Peter, patron saint of the old local parish church. The trefly warden is considered to be a mere gimmick of the artist. It was part of the arms in any depiction.

he banner has never been approved officially. The arms were granted on 14 March 1516 by Duke Ludwig X of Bayern.
