Shield Azure, a bowl Argent, shaped like a quatrefoil with edges undy, charged with a cross patty Gules, in chief an antler Argent.
Meaning:
Heiningen became a dominion of Württemberg in 1321. The oldest seal from 1498 already displayed a cross in a frame undy with an antler in chief. This pattern was used as coat of arms since 1525. The tinctures appeared first in 1596 (Or an antler Sable over a cross patty Argent). In the 18th century the cross was said to be trefoily. In 1914 the municipality adopted arms, displaying three rooster heads from the Lords of Heiningen. The current arms are based again on the oldest seal and were adopted in 1956.

Banner and arms were approved on 18 February 1959 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 127/1959.
