Shield Or with base wavy Argent three peaks Gules, the central peak charged with a crozier issuant Argent in pale.
Meaning:
The pattern was displayed first on the town seal with prints since 1476 in a Spanish shield. Crozier and the red colour of the peaks are alluding to the Bishopric of Eichstätt, which ruled the town between 1383 and 1803. Peaks and base together are canting, as the name of the municipality means "wet rocks". A coloured painting from 1811 displayed green peaks over a green meadow with white crozier on a red shield, which didn't fit heraldic rules. The current tinctures were established by Otto Hupp in 1925.

The arms were granted by Wilhelm of Reichenau, Bishop of Eichstätt in 1466, based on an older privilege, granted shortly before by Emperor Friedrich III.
