Shield twice parted per fess, above lozengy of Argent and Azure, in centre Argent two barrulets wavy Sable, beneath Vert.
Meaning:
The 1st seal with prints since 1429 already displayed the current pattern. The base had been red since the 16th century, green since the 19th century. Older images displayed the white fess empty or semy of hyphens. The first pattern was confirmed in 1928, but since 1924 a green shield parted by a white fess wavy under a lozengy shield was used.

The banner was approved and the arms confirmed on 6 December 1978 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz.
