Since the 1994 Constitution, Argentina is administratively divided in 23 provinces and 1 autonomous city that is the capital City of Buenos Aires.
Argentina is a federation and has 23 federal entities called provinces and the capital city with special status as 24th first level administrative-territorial division and regional governments. All Provinces have their own flags and emblems. The emblems are mix of proper heraldic coats of arms and pseudo heraldic coat of arms, and the emblem of the Capital City is a quasi heraldic emblem.
