Sedibeng is one of two districts and three metropolitan municipalities within
the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
Sedibeng is located north of the Vaal River (immediately south of
Johannesburg) and its administrative seat is in
Vereeniging, in the Emfuleni Local Municipality. The other local
municipalities which form the district are Lesedi and Midvaal.

The flag of Sedibeng has a white field with the municipal emblem in the centre,
above which is the name of the municipality in dark blue capital letters.
