Location: Eastern San Diego County, 6 miles east of the City of El Cajon.
Population: @ 33
Tribal Chairman: Daniel J. Tucker (2005-)
The name 'Sycuan' is derived from the yellow primrose flower indigenous to the San Diego area.
The tribe is much more than self-reliant.
Owns and operates an enormous and impressive resort with casino and a beautiful golf course.
If the propositions 94-97 will pass in the next Tuesday voting in California, the Sycuan Band stands to get even wealthier.
