Albemarle County has informed me that the county does not have a flag.

Valentin Poposki reported on 2 May 2010 that the county had no flag. However, a photo and video included in a December 2019 news article online about an Albemarle County Board of Supervisors meeting shows the county flag standing alongside the Virginia state flag behind the Board members. The Albemarle County flag appears to feature the county seal (displayed below) centered on a blue field. The blue of the county flag is a brighter shade than the Virginia flag alongside which it stands in the photo and video.
