The Masaba (or Masaaba) people, or BaMasaaba, are a Bantu people inhabiting the eastern Ugandan districts of Sironko, Manafwa, Bududa,Mbale and Bulambuli. They are closely related to the Bukusu and Luhya of western Kenya. The BaMasaaba moved into central Uganda as part of a much larger group of people, many forming the eastern extension of the great Bantu migration out of central Africa.

The flag of the Masaaba Kingdom comprises three equal horizontal stripes of
black, green and red with the Arms of the Kingdom in the centre in a white disc.
Above the Arms are the words
"INZU YA MASAABA" (King of Masaaba) and below in two ribbons one above
the other; "UWE BUDWE LA MI INZONAZOHANA" and "BYE BAMASAABA".
