Naval flag [i.e. naval ensign] of USSR (1923-1935).
Željko Heimer, 13 Apr 1999, quoting from
Flag-znamya korablya,
07 Mar 1999
the image from [iva67] is probably
more accurate than the one from the "Flag-znamya korablya" website.

Jack and fortress flag (1924-1932).
Željko Heimer, 13 Apr 1999, quoting from
Flag-znamya korablya,
07 Mar 1999
Adopted 29 august 1924 and replaced
on 8 july 1935.
Victor Lomantsov, 18 Mar 2000
Why the Jack alone was changed in 1932? The answer is
obvious enough: the pre-1932 Jack was too closely related to
the Tsarist Jack.
Miles Li, 21 Dec 1999
