Image by Daniel Rentería, 28 October 2025This is one of the states established by presidential decree on 2 October
2015, with the decree being revoked and disestablishing it later on 22 February
2020. The Terekeka State Flag depicted what could be the state emblem over a
white field, which was an oval depicting a photograph of what appears to be a
hippopotamus. Above this emblem were the words TEREKEKA S. in white, curved. I
could not find an image of the state emblem. Also of note, the desk flag used by
the Governor had a white fringe.
