The emblem is a green outline of a white oval depicting a black rhinoceros in its center. The black rhinoceros used to roam in these areas, but does not exist here anymore.

I saw a flag where the rhino looks at the hoist at

Around 2022, a flag used by the governor had the words CENTRAL EQUATORIA
STATE curved around the rhinoceros, in a font with parts of letters cut out.
