It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of red and white.

Shield Argent a lyre Azure flanked by two almond branches Vert blossomed Purpure, beneath two flails Gules in saltire with fittings Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "CEDOVIM".
Meaning:
The branches are a symbol of the beautiful landscape and of the growing of almonds as important business line. The lyre is alluding to local folklore like singing and dancing, which is practiced since times immemorial. The flails are alluding to local farmworkers, especially cradlers and threshers.

Cedovim is one of the 12 communes of Vila Nova de Foz Côa Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 284 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 30.76 km².
