Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, two olive trees eradicated Vert fruited Sable ordered per fess, on chief a belfry Gules with bell Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "DARDAVAZ".

Dardavaz is one of the 12 communes of Tondela Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 703 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 16,33 km².
