Shield Vert a guitar Or garnished Sable and Gules in fess, in chief a raised granary Argent, issuant from the flanches and from base wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet Azure, a hump bridge Argent masoned Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MANHOUCE"
Meaning:
The guitar in the arms stands for the local traditional folk dance and music ensemble Grupo de Danças e Cantares de Manhouce, which has met worldwide fame. It is blazoned as garnished Sable alone (Portuguese: "realçada de negro") but shown in all images to be garnished also Gules.

Manhouce is one of the ten communes of São Pedro do Sul Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 466 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 40,53 km².
