Sobral Pichorro Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Fornos de Algodres Municipality; it had 208 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 9.0 km².

Shield Vert, an eradicated potato shrub Argent with tubers Or, flanked by two beech martens rampant respectant Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FUINHAS".
Meaning:
The beech martens (Latin: Martes foina; Port.: fuínha) are canting elements. The shrub is probably representing agriculture.
