The Arms are Argent, a vine grapole fruited Purpure and leaved Vert, cornered by four corn cobs Or. Mural Argent crown with four visible towers and white scroll reading "VILA DE FORNOS DE ALGODRES" in black capitals.

Fornos de Algodres is a medium sized town, capital of a municipality with 131 km² and 6160 inhabitants in 12 communes. It is located currently in the Guarda district, traditionally in Beira Alta province and will be integrated into the region Beira Interior.
