The municipality of Camoapa (39,640 inhabitants in 2019, 16,999 in the town
of Camoapa) is located 120 km north-east of Managua and 30 km south-east of
Boaco.
The flag of Baoco is horizontally divided yellow-white-green with
the municipal coat of arms in the center.

cattle-breeding - Camoapa is home of yearly Hatofer Fair, organized by the
