See also:I noticed some years ago that the Mayans ruled over some lands in Yucatan. The Encilcopedia Hispano Americana says that they ruled over "Valladolid" (a city in Yucatan) and its region at least until 1910. The Mayan independent state was supressed before 1914 (I believe that it was around 1911) Today I noticed from this independent state, recognized by British government, in Wikipedia. Unfortunately there is no news about any possible flag in the article.
The current flag used by Mayans is four colored in an X arrangement, I don't remember the colors but information was provided by Jan Oskar and published some years ago in Flag Report. I can't say if it was the same flag of the independent state.

I have - at some time in the dim past - come
across reference to the Quintana Roo area of
Mexican Yucatan declaring itself briefly
independent at around that time. I wonder if this
is the same entity....
