The convention center in Ciudad del Carmen flies a flag for each municipality, white with the coat of arms and name in black, including Dzitbalché.

The coat of arms was adopted in 2022, being designed by Dr. Venustiano Puc Canul. It had been made a municipality a year prior. An official description is provided: At the very top is
the municipal palace, with its arched entrances. The Kukulkán serpents symbolize the Mayan identity and culture. The Church of the Assumption of Mary is depicted. The Songs of Dzitbalché
are represented by the scroll. The person on the left is a farmer, while the one on the right is mestiza in traditional dress. They are by the tree of Balché, sacred tree of the Mayas, symbolizes
the seal of Mayan rituals done in order to obtain purification from the gods. The Maya head, surrounded by two ears of corn and surmounted by a serpent, remembers the arrival of the first Maya
founders, around 1443 to 1445. The three flowers symbolizes the artisanry of the town, which builds with its hands. The motto, "KAAJAL KU TAKMUK YEETEL KU JÓOKOL TÁANIL" means "TOWN THAT FIGHTS
AND ADVANCES ALWAYS TOWARDS PROGRESS".
