Located in Osaka City Osaka Prefecture and established in 1949.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has blue background with a gold emblem and vertically written in silver kanji institute name in gold fringe.
The flag is blue with the kanji word "工大"=Institute of Technology in gold in the center. The flag currently in use was made in 1962, and is used at various ceremonies held at the school, including the entrance oath ceremony and degree conferment ceremony.
