In the Osaka Winter Campaign, he led a naval force to seize Osaka Bay, leading to the fall of Osaka Castle. He was instrumental in the maintenance of the Shogunate's military vessels. The war banner has white background with five red circles. The general’s standard has white background with a red circle in square shape.
