The flag of town of Kumejima is maroon with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on May 25th 2004 by Notice No 23 but there is no flag law.
The maroon flag has a blue, a green and a white three color town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is three stylized hiragana く Ku of Kumejima.
The oblong symbolizes the town people’s concord.
As a whole, it represents the town’s further development.
