The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1954 but there is no flag law. The
white flag has a black city emblem in the center. The city continues to use a
crest of Naruse family of the former Inuyama Domain lord and Inuyama castle
owner. The family crest is kanji 一 = one in a circle.
