The city emblem was adopted on August 27th 1909 but there is no flag law.
The white flag is charged with a red city emblem in the center.
The flag proportions are 2:3.
The city emblem is a stylized kanji 井 I of the former city name of 井の口 Inoguchi.

The flag of the former town of Yanaizu was white with mark. The town is now,
part of the city of Gifu.
