harmony.

Flag adopted 1992 Notice No 1. The flag use the emblem adopted on 1 April
1965 (notice no 6 (in Japanese)).
The logo is made up of a stylised kanji numa 沼 (swamp/pond)
forming a circle. This circle, together with a cross in the middle, forms
the kanji ta 田 (rice paddy). The emblem symbolises harmonious human
nature/kindness and the (balanced?) development/growth of the city.

The flag of the city of Numata is already reported, but I found two variants
of purple flag.

is now, from 2005, part of the city of Numata.
