The town emblem and the flag were adopted on May 10th 1977 by Notice No 45.
The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana あじがさわ Ajigasawa.
The circle symbolizes a reconciliation of the town and
the letter あさ represent a development of the town.
The flag proportion is 7: 10.
The diameter of the emblem is 64/100 height of the flag and 45/100 length of the flag.
