ART. 4 - Stemma e Gonfalone
1. Il comune negli atti e nel sigillo si identifica con il nome di Canaro.
2. Lo stemma del comune è come descritto dal decreto della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri n. 4 del 19.01.1959;
rappresentato come segue: - d'argento, al garofano fogliato, accostato da due canne decussate in punta, il tutto al naturale.
Il gonfalone del Comune è costituito da un vessillo ornato di colore bianco, bordato di verde riccamente ornato di ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma sopra descritto con l'iscrizione centrata in argento: COMUNE DI CANARO.
3. Nelle cerimonie e nelle altre pubbliche ricorrenze, e ogni qual volta sia necessario rendere ufficiale la partecipazione dell'ente a una particolare iniziativa, il sindaco può disporre che venga esibito il gonfalone con lo stemma del comune.
