"Il gonfalone è l'emblema con il quale il Comune
rappresenta unitariamente l'intera comunità locale. Esso
consiste in un drappo quadrangolare del colore di tutti gli
smalti dello stemma, sospeso mediante un bilico mobile ad
un'asta, e terminate in punta da una freccia. Sulla freccia è
collocata la bandiera italiana.
(Il Regolamento comunale disciplina l'uso del gonfalone e dello
stemma. Presso l'Ufficio Relazioni con il Pubblico del Comune in
C.so d'Augusto 158 è possibile visionare una riproduzione a
colori sia dello stemma civico che del gonfalone comunale)."

These Coat of Arms have substancial differeces in partition
and smalts, so they can't be consider mere variants of the
present day Coat of Arms. The one in above is rendered from a
sculpture in the Clock Tower, and is smalted according to the one
below, which was rendered from an old coloured image formerly in
the Comune di Rimini Web site.
