"GONFALONE. Drappo di colore bianco riccamente ornato
di ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma comunale con la
iscrizione centrata in argento: «Comune di Roccastrada»
(Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica in data 16 marzo 1961).
Nell'antico statuto del comune di Roccastrada si trova disegnato
un castello a tre torri, con la torre centrale più alta e quella
di destra sormontata da una stella. Questo simbolo, che
rappresenta il castello degli Aldobrandeschi, fu assunto come
emblema comunale. Unica novità il passaggio della stella dalla
torre laterale a quella maggiore posta al centro, riferimento
questo alla sommità sulla quale fu eretta la rocca."
