image by Tomislav Todorovic, 14 August 2011Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam is a Tamil political party in India, based amongst the Thevar caste (a Kshatriya sub-caste) [1, 2]. Their flag is a yellow-green-yellow horizontal triband, three stripes being almost always of equal width [3, 4], although there are rare examples of green stripe being much narrower than the yellow ones [5].
