"The search is on for information about the North Berwick flag. Community councillor Robin McEwen decided to try and find the flag after seeing others on display at East Lothian's Tartan Week parades. Enquiries with East Lothian Council's museums' HQ in Haddington just threw up a pennant with the ship emblem. Mr McEwen has also heard about a flag being carried before the former Town Council at the kirkin' of the council in bygone days. The community council would be interested to hear from anyone who can shed any light on the flag."
