The flag of Pedernales, designed by Oswin Crespo, is composed of five
horizontal stripes, three yellow and two blue. In the flag's left part is
placed a green triangle.
Yellow symbolizes the canton's resources.
Blue
symbolizes the purity of its environment, the sea that baths its coasts and
its limpid sky.
Green symbolizes the profuse agricultural production.
