Shield parted per pale, at dexter quartered of Argent and Sable, at sinister Azure, on a mount issuant Vert, charged with a fess wavy Argent, a church Argent with roofs Gules topped by crosslets Or.
Meaning:
The existence of the first seal is proven by prints from 1471. The seal displayed the local St. Michael's Church at dexter and the quartered shield of the Zollern kin at sinister. The fess wavy, representing the little Lamitz River, was added later. The current tinctures are known since 1581, were however changed arbitrarily in 1819 (church in a golden field and quartered of blue and white). From 1837 until 1931 a man's head was added at the lower bordure, based on a misinterpretation of a seal from 1611.
