Shield Gules, under a chief Argent a rooster statant Argent.
Meaning:
The arms were based on a local seal from 1821. In 1936 the municipality adopted new arms, parted per fess of white and red with a white rooster in the red field. These arms had been the arms of the Counts of Hohenberg with an additional rooster as a local symbol. Renquishausen was sold to Austria in 1381 by Count Rudolf of Hohenberg and remained an Austrian dominion until 1805. The line of partition was shifted to top later. The meaning of the rooster is unknown.
