Neukirchen-Balbini Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, on lawn Vert surrounded by four deciduous trees of the same a chapel Argent with roof Azure, on central chief an impending inescutcheon lozengy of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The lozengy shield is symbolising the sovereignty of the Wittelsbch kin. The chapel, blasoned as church (German: Kirche), is canting. The shape of the chapel remained nearly unchanged on all local seals since 1450. The trees are symbolising the Pruckerforst, a forest. The circumscription of the fist seal includes the name of the forest as distinguishing part of the name. Neukirchen is probably the most frequent name of German villages. Balbini was added to the name since the 15th century. It is genitive of the name of a the priest Palwinus, who worked in the town in 1303.
