Shield Gules a bell Or.
Meaning:
The bell is referring to the "Bell of Arnoldus", which had been founded around 1180 and is thus one of the oldest Bavarian bells. The tinctures had been chosen, in order to distinguish the arms from those of Mindelheim, which also display a bell since the 14th century. Local seals have an additional number "804", the year, when Gilching was first mentioned.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 7 April 1952 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
