Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a bend Gules, at sinister Azure, issuant from base a crozier Or in pale.
Meaning:
Village mayor and court in 1555 used a common seal, which already displayed the pattern of the current arms. The tinctures were added in 1901. The dexter half displays the arms of Baden. The crozier was considered to refer to the Bishopric of Speyer and the Abbeys of Weißenburg, Reichenbach, Herrenalb and Maulbronn. More likely the crozier is in fact a pilgrim's staff, referring to the pilgrimage to Bickesheim, proven since 1318. Bickesheim was connected with Durmersheim since the 14th century. Newer seals until 1900 displayed the crozier alone.
