Shield Azure three connected fleur-de-lis Or in pall.
Meaning:
The oldest seal, made probably in the middle of the 15th century, is known by a print from 1514. It already displayed the current pattern, which was interpreted as milrind by Otto Hupp. The arms are similar to those of Gangkofen and its origin also is not for sure. They might belong to the Massinger kin, that died out around 1190. Hans Mieleich (1516 - 1573) in 1565 displayed an arm coming out of clouds and holding one fleur-de-lis. Georg Apian and Johann Siebmacher (1561 - 1611) displayed the same pattern. Versions from the 19th century simply displayed the three fleur-de-lis disconnected.
