Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or an abbot's crozier Gules in pale and "sinister facing", at sinister Gules a candle Argent flamed Or on a candlestick Argent.
Meaning:
The crozier is alluding to the Abbots of Maulbronn Monastery, being former rulers. The candlestick is a symbol of the Waldensians and reminding on the fact that in 1699 Waldensians founded the village Lucerne, which merged with Wurmberg in 1808. Waldensians expelled from Bärenthal near Tuttlingen settled down in Neubärenthal on the area of Wurmberg in 1717. They merged with the (Protestant) Reformed Church, to which the locals belonged.
