Shield Azure, a fess wavy Or, in chief an annulet Or with a jewel Gules, in base a watermill's wheel Or with six paddles and a hub Gules.
Meaning:
The settlement had been a market town and was called Dürrmenz-Mühlacker. It was renamed in 1930 and at the same time upgraded to a city. Local seals since 1629 already displayed the fess wavy, representing Enz River, the annulet, representing the Lords of Dürrmenz, local rulers since the 13th century, and an abbot's crozier. The crozier was alluding to the fact, that the Cistercians from Maulbronn Abbey since 1365 had acquired the possessions of the Lords of Enzberg. The current arms were adopted in 1926. The crozier was replaced by a canting wheel of a mill (German: Mühle). According to blazon the annulet should have a jewel Sable framed Gules.
