The ratio is 3:5. It is an armorial flag.

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a bundle of three crossed, golden (=yellow) arrows. The arrowheads are pointing upwards. Upon the chief are three golden (= yellow) 6-point stars.
Meaning:
The stars have been taken from the arms of the von Calven family, which had been owners of the estates of Mori and Stockelsdorf from 1440 until 1586. In 1534 a peace treaty was signed here, which ended a local war between the city of Lübeck and the Counts of Holstein. The arrows have been taken from the arms of the Lübbers family. Nikolaus von Lübbers renewed Stockelsdorf estate in 1741 and established a famous faience manufactory in Stockelsdorf.

The flag was approved on 18 October 2001. The coat of arms was approved on 11 February 1955. The artist is E. Eisenblätter from Stockelsdorf.
